    Create a Desktop Garden.  Investigate the importance of light in plant growth by building your own desktop greenhouse. (Space is limited to 15 students.)

    Band Support is for any Band student grades 6-8 who would like more time or more assistance on their instrument! Mr. Woodbury provides time, practicing methods, and extra music that you want or need to help you succeed.

You’ll practice teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills—all while having a great time with friends. No experience needed—just bring your curiosity and love of games!

    From sketching out ideas to testing your own creations, you'll learn how real inventors think — all while having a blast with your friends! No experience needed — just bring your imagination and a love for tinkering.

    Join us after school for the Native American Club! Students will explore the traditions of local Indigenous tribes through hands-on arts and crafts. Together, we’ll learn how Native communities used the natural resources around them to create beautiful and meaningful works of art. This is a fun opportunity to celebrate culture, creativity, and community while building new skills and friendships.

    Relax & Create is a space for anyone who loves being creative in a laid-back setting. This round celebrates Taylor Swift and the crafts she and her fans enjoy — from baking and bracelet-making to sewing, painting, poetry/songwriting, and more. Club members help choose the activities, and we will be listening to Taylor’s tracks!  Swifties, this one’s for you! (Space is limited to 22 students.)

    Jump into the exciting world of computer science and coding! In this club, you'll build a strong foundation in programming through fun, hands-on activities. We’ll explore coding using tools like Scratch animations, mini-drones, and different types of robots.

    Want to put your skills to the test? You'll also have the chance to compete in Central Washington Robotics League one-day competitions in both the fall and spring! (Space is limited to 18 students.)

    Need help with an essay? Wondering where in the world those countries are? Don’t stress — Mrs. Schmidt has your back! Whether you want to improve your understanding of math, dive into a good book, write a killer paragraph, or explore maps and cultures, you’ll get the support you need and have a great time doing it.
    With fun, friendly help from Mrs. Schmidt, learning doesn’t have to feel like a chore. Come hang out, ask questions, and tackle your homework with confidence. The Study Squad is where learning gets easier — and way more fun!

    Develop the nerve-racking SCIENCE skills of trusting in the process and watching how molecules move, SYRINGE/NEEDLE WORK INJECTION, and 'BLOOD DRAWING' practice on 'veins'. We will also learn how to inject fruits/vegetables with different skins and determine the most appropriate gauge of needle for thin skin or rhinoceros skin! We will examine the tissues after injection to see how vaccines and other injected materials disperse after injections are given. REAL WORLD SCIENCE - STEAM!  (Space is limited to 10 students.)
