In accordance with the announcement today from Governor Inslee, masks will be optional at school beginning on Saturday, March 12. The West Valley School District welcomes this change and is currently making preparations for the transition to masks being optional in our schools.
Mask requirements that are currently in place must continue to be followed up to March 12. The West Valley School District must follow the requirements of the Washington State Dept. of Health and the Washington State Dept. of Labor and Industries as well as the Yakima County Health District.
