About MLC
About MLC
The Mid-Level Campus consists of two separate buildings on one entire campus. The West Valley Middle School was built in 1995 to relieve overcrowding at the Junior High School. The new Middle School was designed to serve sixth and seventh grades and is intentionally located next to the Junior High School so these two campuses could share athletic fields, parking, and student drop-off areas. The Middle School now serves our entire sixth grade and half of our seventh grade student population. The design of the Middle School was based upon a “School within a School” concept with each wing containing six classrooms, two science rooms, and a teacher prep area.
The Middle School’s original Mascott was the Wolves and is now the Rams
About West Valley Middle School
The West Valley Junior High School was built in 1978. It currently serves the other half of our seventh grade and our entire eighth grade student population. The Junior High’s orignal mascott was the Panthers and is now the Rams.

LEARNING is West Valley Mid-Level campus’s #1 PRIORITY! We think student’s most important reason for attending school is to acquire the attitudes, skills, and information necessary to become a contributing and positive member of society. For students to meet our learning expectations, they are responsible for the following:
- Keeping a positive attitude.
- Having prompt and regular attendance.
- Bringing assignments and materials to class daily.
- Turn in daily work and homework on time.
- Ask for assistance or further explanation when in doubt
- Follow the guidelines in the student handbook.
- Out-of-district students who fail any class at the end of any term may have their permission to attend West Valley School District revoked.
